Call of Duty: Fall of Man
You could mod Crysis 1 to look like Avatar the movie, but it wouldn't run.
Optimization is the prevalent factor, so even if Crysis 1 looked better than (probably doesn't anyway) Crysis 2 when running on Ultra-High settings doesn't matter the slightest if you have to have twice as powerful PC!
HOW CAN CRYSIS 1 LOOK BETTER THAN CRYSIS 2?
How is that, in any way, conceivable?
...
This is AWESOME!!
You're all underestimating Deus Ex!
Panda is just playing it safe...
I'd say Tachyon is the closest.
I loved it on the big screen.
You're right that the "head honco" of BioShock, Ken Levine, didn't work on the sequel, but I reckon it wasn't nearly as bad as you say.
It's about TELLING the story. Not about the story itself.
I.E. Black Ops had a great story, but it was conveyed in a rather cumbersome and uninvolved way leaving the player not immersing him/herself into the word and connecting with the characters.
They have SPECIFICALLY addressed that, stating that they will not be creating redundant side-quest, but ones that affect the world and the story.
I don't understand the concept of Superman anyway...
He makes absolutely no sense at all!
How is a virtually unstoppable, indestructible and nearly all-powerful character relatable in any shape or form?
I just don't get it.
It's like a bunch of kids were debating what would be the best superhero and the last kid was like: "I know, I know!! A man who can do all kinds of cool shit and yeah, BTW: he also can't be killed or hurt."...
There's no score given in the review!!!
The review is actually very positive.
I don't understand that score at all!!
My guess is that it's the submitter's ("Sanii") personal take on things...
The only problems I had with it were a couple of crashes when I first started playing, but after that everything worked absolutely fine.
(Not talking about TF2, though... There's something very weird going on in that one, I must admit...)
It's the solution to everything, isn't it? /s
"Don't like something? Then get away from it!"
Fixes nothing.
Love the show!!
It might have the best.
One problem: a CoD game can't tell a story. Even if it's an interesting setting and/or a plot, the games haven't been able to convey that sense.
The story in Black Ops, though actually the one thing I respect Black Ops for: It had a proper, even a great story (no wonder though, as the writer was the co-writer of Batman Begins) but it seemed like a bloody mess, still.
One problem: Infinity Ward can't tell a story.
That's actually the one thing I respect Black Ops for: It had a proper, even a great story (no wonder though, as the writer was the co-writer of e.g. Batman Begins).
MAYBE it's because it makes sense from both the game play and realistic standpoint?
WHAT!!??
